Privacy Policy

Climatico Advisory (“Climatico”, “we”) is a climate action advisory based in Wageningen, the Netherlands. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at info@climatico.nl.

When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, and message, and, if you provide them, your organisation and the service you are interested in. We use this information only to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to discuss and carry out a possible engagement.

We process this data on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.

We do not use the information for marketing, we do not sell it, and we do not use cookies or analytics to track visitors to this website.

Form submissions are stored in a Google Sheet and forwarded to our email inbox using Google services. The website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.

These providers act on our behalf. Some of them may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to handle them and any engagement that follows, and delete them no later than two years after our last contact with you, unless we are legally required to keep them longer.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive a copy of it in a common format. To use any of these rights, email info@climatico.nl.

If you believe we handle your data incorrectly, you can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

We may update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
